Kate McCulloch Campaigner Against Camden Islamic School Joins One Nation

Kate McCulloch who has been an active campaigner against construction of the the Quaranic Society's Islamic school in Camden has joined One Nation. Kate will be a real asset to the party. Kate said she looked at the policies of all the other political parties and decided One Nation was the one most consistent with her values and her ideals. A video of Kate explaining her reasons for opposing the school was played in the Land and Environment Court as part of Camden Council's evidence in the appeal case which the Quaranic Society lost. Kate describes herself as a proud Australian especially concerned with maintaining the Australian way of life and the right of Australians to freedom of speech, a right which the major parties are systematically eroding. She wants to give Australians the power and courage to get up and say what they think. As a farmer and small businesswoman another gripe she has against Liberal and Labor is their hostility to the primary producers and small business operators of Australia.

The judgement of the Land and Environment Court reads in part "The proposed development attracted extensive public interest that centred on the impact the proposed school would have on the amenity of the immediate area and the broader Camden area. The original application attracted 3083 submissions; 23 submissions were in support; 18 were neutral; and 3042 opposed the school. The submissions included 14 petitions containing 435 signatories who opposed to the proposed school. The amended application attracted 1858 submissions of which three submissions were in support and 1855 were opposed to the proposed school."

Kate will be the candidate for One Nation for Macarthur in the next Federal Election.
