Labor's Peter Garrett is the Prize Hypocrite of Our Time

After green policies contributed to the deaths of 210 Victorians in the bushfires, by performing at the benefit concert Environment Minister Peter Garrett marks himself as the prize hypocrite of our time.

If it wasn't for the extreme environmentalism embraced by Garrett and his ilk, no benefit would have been needed, because if the green-infested local councils and Victorian State Government hadn't prevented hazard reduction and land-clearing the magnitude of the fires would have been greatly reduced and many of those 210 Victorians would still be alive.

Dollars can rebuild houses, Mr Garrett, but they can't bring the 210 people back to life.

No doubt more people will die in fires in the future as the green lobby continues to veto hazard reduction and blame bushfires on non-existent global warming.

Not that the Coalition has performed any better. The fires accounted for nearly half as many Australians as died in the Vietnam war, but the Coalition have yet to condemn the greenies for contributing to the catastrophe. Is this because Malcolm Turnbull needs the green vote to retain his seat of Wentworth?

One Nation is the only party prepared to do "whatever it takes" to protect Australians from the ravages of bushfires which includes opening up National Parks to hazard reduction and cattle grazing, cutting fire trails, and allowing property owners to clear land as necessary. Furthermore One Nation will always put extreme parties like The Greens last.
